This is an antique 19th Century Lenzkirch porcelain and bronze mantel clock. Lenzkirch one of the finest German clockmakers, is the oldest clock maker from the Black Forest area; founded in 1849 in Lenzkirch, Germany.
The clocks wine-coloured vase-shaped casing is decorated with garlands, flowers and putti on both sides. The bronze socle ensures a perfect stability.
Its contemporary enamel face shows black Roman numerals, Arabic minuterie and red lilies. The high quality hands are gold-plated and engraved.
This pendulum has an eight day movement striking on the hour and half-hour. The bell which is silver-plated guarantees thereby a pleasant clear sound.
There is just a little damage, almost invisible on the backside of the clock.
